I'm really in the mood for something fruity. Like a mango shake. This poem is inspired by a very beautiful day today, one of my very very very favorite tired days of all time, my craving for a fruit fix, and a hidden agenda.
The fruit burns a deep red.
With honey nectar drizzled with savory bite,
A pure amber flesh awaits, firm and sweet.
At the meeting of lips,
a sugary sensation quivers upon the ridges of pink.
With each fang that pierces the skin,
a succulent white blood oozes at its own pace.
A faint memory of jungle sweat arise in the subtle aroma,
A scent of ardency unrequited after a lifetime of secrecy.
